The books “Vine and wine. Knowledge and practice. Part 1 and 2” are collective work under the editorship of Roman Myśliwiec and Ewa Wawro. The authors of the individual chapters are the lecturers of Podkarpacka Akademia Wina /the Subcarpathian Academy of Wine in Jasło (You can find more information on PAW www.akademiawina.org ), the best specialists in their fields in Poland. They are not only theorists, but also practitioners who have been gaining their specialist knowledge for years of experience. The book is addressed to a vast group of people who are interested in viticulture, both the owners of vineyards that already exist and the beginners, vine gardeners and wine lovers.

The publication was divided into two parts because of the extensive viticultural themes. Part One is devoted to issues connected with vine growing, Part Two- with wine making. In both parts the key issues, such as the history, wine species classification, marketing, enotourism, the art of wine tasting and wine law, are described in complementary chapters.
